I know better than that

I don't understand how people can do the things they do. And I wonder why some people think Christians are hypocrites. Then I actually sit down to take a look at "us" and I understand.

We are suppose to be making a difference, but we aren't. Its not that we don't try. Its that we WON'T. I don't understand that. I know we aren't perfect, and I know we sometimes make mistakes -just like everyone else- but that's no reason to just give in and conform to this world. I don't know about you, but I don't want to do it.

I will not conform.

I want to make a difference!

No regrets!

I want to do what I can now, because only God knows if there is going to be a later. I was not made to conform. I was made for something much greater!

Have you looked at our world and how messed up it really is? ....there are honestly no words. It makes me so mad! I've seen a lot of screwed up things. As a kid they tell you there isn't a lot you can do about it, but that is a lie. I know better than that, and so do you!

  1. You GO girl. Don't you ever believe you can't make a difference. You have inspired this adult more times than you know!

You were made for something greater, and you've already started!

I love you, and I'm amazed by you!

  2. I've been having a conversation with a friend over the last two days about Christians who don't act like Christians. Or maybe I should say, people who profess to be Christians who don't act like Christians. I love your heart and your determination here! I just recently read the book "Radical" by David Platt, and have been so convicted all over again to truly live my faith and really obey what the Bible says...period.

One of my favorite verses as a teen and young adult (which I'm now sharing with my kids and my youth girls SS class...because I'm not so young anymore :)), was 1 Tim. 4:12..."Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." You *were* made for something greater...and I can't wait to see what God is going to do with you!!
